Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens

it was officially opened in 1982, but has been a popular spot since the early 1900's for outings. The area is voted as one of Johannesburgs some 5million residents as the best picnic spot in the city. It has a HIGE diversity of plants (over 600 species), over 100 bird species (including the famous Black eagle) and a game, such as small antelope, jackles, reptiles and such. Theie are many walks, hikes and pathways around the huge area, and even more picnic spots. Arguably the best is the waterfall at the end of the garden.
