Addo Elephant National Park

Addo Elephant National Park is third larges national park in South africa in order to conserve a wide diversity of biodiversity, landscapes, fauna and flora. It covers the semi-arid karoo area in the north around Darlington Dam down south to the coust between Sundays River mouth and Bushman's river mouth. In 1931 the original section of the park was proclaimed with only 16 elephants remaind in the area. Today there are counted over 550 elephants and much more other species.
